Analytic philosophy puts weight on language and logic, while speculative philosophy highlights a systematic method to reality. One day, I found both analytical and speculative philosophy at work. I invested in gold when I thought it would soon increase its value and sell it at a profit. The scenario became speculative since it involved a high risk of loss, while it became analytical since I had reasoned out of making a huge profit.
