What aspects African - based teaching can you integrate in your own teaching philosophy? How will this be of benefit to you?
African Based Learning
In most institutions, such as universities and colleges, only one aspect of their functions is addressed, most of which focus on providing their students with education without actually expressing concern about the impact that their services have on society. Learning institutions are more or less a company that must be aware of its environmental factors both internally and externally. Many of them only provide Western education with African studies that can be useful in return if the students come back to a society that they neglect.
The African knowledge is not only useful in academics but also in societal applications, that is what makes it powerful and important, unlike other studies that only guarantee good grades in school with nothing to give back to society. It aims to explain how the impact of the African aspects and the importance of their application in normal teaching add value persuade teachers and learners. African research can be crucial in responding to real issues, which may affect not only Africa but the entire world.
