Suppose I have 100 items and 10% of them are defected. Now if I m taking 20% out of 100 items? what will be the percentage of defected items in this 20%. According to my knowledge it should be 20% chance to have defected item in 20% of items. My issue is if I am changing the %age of defected value in 100 item e.g in it can be 10%, 30%, 50% etc what will be their chance of occurrence if i randomly take 20% items from 100 items. will their percentage change, if yes then please explain it
