i) Problem-posing refers to a method of teaching that emphasizes critical thinking for the purpose of liberation.
The Montessori method, developed by Maria Montessori is an example of problem-posing education in an early childhood model.
ii) Children begin learning mathematics well before they enter elementary school. Starting from infancy and continuing throughout the preschool period, they develop a base of skills, concepts, and misconceptions about numbers and mathematics.
iii) Children and teenagers learn by observing, listening, exploring, experimenting and asking questions. Children learn by using objects in lots of different ways.
