Domain is the set of all possible inputs. In our case input is x. x can be (R\{2})∪{2} = R

Range is the set of all possible outputs. In our case output is y. y can be R\{1} for all x except of {2} and 1 for x = 2. The range of y is (R\{1})∪{1} = R
