Truthful means, one doesn't have a hidden agenda. In other words, you don't pick and choose which major stories to broadcast. In other words, don't choose statistics to support a conclusion when there are other statistics available that don't support the conclusion.

Accurately means one needs to provide all the information so that the viewer can make an informed decision, rather than just providing a few facts and drawing a conclusion. Rather than asking softball questions in some interviews or leading or loaded questions in others, it means asking real questions from multiple angles. It means not altering media in order to change the storyline or tone of the story.

To report fairly, one must refrain from making personal remarks and allow for multiple viewpoints. As a result, all viewpoints are given the same amount of airtime. So the viewer should not be able to discern the reporter's opinion on a given topic from his or her body language.
