If the rating scale is from 1- 10, I would rate Max's emotional intelligence 3 out of 10 because he does not consider five important emotional intelligence in his company. For instance, self-awareness is the key to emotional intelligence and maxis is complete lacks self-awareness in terms of his thoughts and emotions. Accordingly, maxis are a poor listener and he does not value employees' emotions and is also not empathetic to his workers, instead, he judges them with their based on their job performance leading to the high turnover rate. Furthermore, in terms of self-management, Max does not show any patience at the workplace or towards his employees, and also does not show any interest in getting feedback from his employees. Social awareness- Max is not listening, understanding, and showing empathy to his workers, instead, he threatens to terminate his staff if they can not be committed to their jobs. Additionally, in terms of relationships, management, Max's company has high turnover because of a poor relationship with its workers.
