A hair salon is a business that offers a range of hair-related services to clients which include hair-cutting, regular and formal styling, curling, coloring, arranging hair, especially that of women etc. Several strategies can be used to market a hair salon, some are discussed below;

  • Offer a Loyalty Program- Establishing a reward system is a great salon marketing strategy to keep people coming back for more. Consider offering clients punch cards, referral program etc.
  • Extend promotions- Offer clients a deal they can’t refuse since many client’s view going to the salon as a treat. For example, each month, the salon can discount one specific service. It may draw in clients seeking that service, as well as anybody who may have been curious about it.
  • Manage online reviews- It's important to have reviews to indicate that a salon has had customers. Having no reviews can be considered unreliable. It's also necessary to manage reviews. Focus on responding positively to every review, even if a client is dissatisfied with a service, providing a quick, professional, and friendly response to a bad public review can save the business.
  • Allow online appointments- High number of consumers prefer to book appointments online, a salon website needs to be offering this convenience.
  • Friendly staff- The staff should try and connect with the customers, they should make them feel comfortable and at ease. Always keep the staff motivated and happy so that they pass the same aura to the customers. At least try giving them incentives or perks.
