Would it make a difference in the environment if only small businesses were to implement sustainable development? Why or why not?
Only small firms implementing sustainable growth would make a difference in the environment. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) will make up the majority of green firms, which will include alternative energy companies, green retail outlets, organic food growers, and locally sourced artisan vendors. Businesses with a strong environmental conscience, which implement eco-friendly procedures, have fewer employees and a lower turnover rate than larger corporations. Consumers will become more environmentally conscious, and small businesses will be required to uphold ecologically friendly ideals in order to meet their needs. Businesses will cater to the eco-friendly consumer as more shoppers worry about the environment when they shop. Customers will be willing to pay a higher price for environmentally friendly products.
