marketing is a both beneficial and at times harmful to the clients/customers in a number of ways. for instance, customers can be harm emotional when an advert that is not sensitive to the feelings of the people like advertisement on funeral services. societal impacts of marketing comes in play when the adverts are unethical by advertising materials that promote violence. Furthermore, psychologically consumers are affected when the consumers of a particular products are discouraged against consuming it despite their addictions to the product. functionally, marketing is harmful to the society when it causes noise pollution.
