At work, the informal learning can happen through four attributes – process, location & setting, purpose, and content. Generally, the areas in which the workers can proceed with informal learning are gaining knowledge, learning teamwork, solving problems, developing communication skills, new work tasks, learning computers, maintaining health and safety, ensuring practice of worker’s rights, managerial skills, handling political environment, managing budget, and sharpening language and literacy skills.
The objective of informal learning is to create a shared vision based on values in sync with the organization goals, vision, and internal operations. It is a continuous process.
