Interpersonal relationships between superiors and subordinates in an organization involve
different kinds of power equations. In your opinion, arrange the 5 sources of power in
order of importance, that are based on superior subordinate relationships in an
organization. Justify your preference.
The five types of power involve legitimate power whereby someone holds as a result of hierarchy in an organization. The influence is that they can influence other employees. The second power is coercive power whereby it is acquired through force or threat. The third one is referent power whereby a person has stronger inter personal skills and other employees follow them. The fourth one is charisma power whereby in this case someone inspires positivity and joyful feeling in others and finally we have expert power where an employee possesses skills which others do not have.
