The King IV Code lays forth the philosophy, ideas, procedures, and outcomes that guide corporate governance in South Africa. Democratic management style. Most firms benefit from this leadership style, which is followed by autocratic leadership.

In aristocratic leadership, the advantages include

·       . It enables quick judgments to be taken.

When a company has established autocratic leadership, there are fewer levels of administration that need to be kept informed of each decision.

In addition, there is less feedback from various levels of management to handle.

. It promotes communication in general.

When a business has numerous layers of leadership, a directive from the top can feel like a childhood game of Telephone. Each level of management can mistakenly (or on purpose) put their own spin on the leadership's communication.

·        It enhances productivity.

There are fewer delays in productivity because authoritarian executives may quickly move information throughout an organization.

Because they receive timely choices and communication from their leadership, workers are less likely to halt initiatives or request later deadlines.

·        Participation is encouraged by the Democratic leadership.

This leadership style, by definition, welcomes participation and involvement from those inside an organization who may not be (or feel) represented otherwise.

·        Makes problem-solving more efficient.

·        The number of potential solutions grows as more minds work on a problem.

While choices may be made more slowly than under other leadership styles - authoritarian leadership, for example - the final solution is likely to be obtained through a more rigorous procedure
