Advantages

1.      It is easy to practice interdepartmental communication

2.      Helps employees to develop new skills.

Disadvantages

1.      It is hard to clarify roles for each team or individual employees reporting to different managers

2.      Burnout is common due to workloads

Unlike matrix organization, the Project structure is an organizational framework where all employees work on projects continuously.
