True, but change for the sake of change is tremendously harmful to a firm. It's inconvenient, confusing, and frequently creates unnecessary delays in product development, marketing, and deployment. It's usually a good thing to change with a particular goal in mind and a plan in place to attain that aim. People can understand and accept what's going on if they have a clear picture of what the change is, why it's being done, and what the reason or cause for the change is. They can also envision their function in the organization as it was and will be. Change must be a strategic decision with a strategy and an intended consequence that everyone can understand in order to be effective as a positive force (if not agree on). Change without this introduces unnecessary disruption into the system.
