Jane Doe is a software developer who is employed at a small boutique software application company. As part of her role, she is usually deployed at client sites for period ranging from 2 months to 1 year. Currently, her assignment involves working with a large conglomerate having interests in FMCG, Technology, Automobiles etc., who is the client of the company she is employed with. Therefore, she performs her job at the client site (i.e. the conglomerate company).
She has been working there for 6 months and her performance has been excellent, but in the last two months she has discovered that a handful of the conglomerate company's employees have been hostile and rude during meetings. Despite the fact that she had completed her work and filled out her time sheet, she was forced to stay late in the office. In fact, she has been yelled at on several occasions. Furthermore, she felt unpleasant to be a part of the meetings' conversations, which had strayed and were laced with innuendos. In fact, a number of her coworkers insisted on taking her out for a private dinner, which she declined, and her performance was afterwards assessed as "below average."
