It is generally a cost-budget endeavor with flexible time. Training programs are considered an integral part of development for human resources. It is an organized tool for the development of specific skills to the desired standard with the help of information, instruction, guidance, and practice.
Training and development programs are helpful in avoiding personnel obsolescence as it fosters the initiative and creativity of employees and help to prevent manpower obsolescence, which may be due to age, motivation, or the inability of a person to adapt him/herself to technological changes.
