  1. Dealing with change - adopting Organizational changes. introduced changes can include new budgets, staffing and technology. for instance staffs who are to retire soon may not have interest in technological training while young workers take training positively.
  2. Instilling Conflict management skills - training learners about handling conflict can be difficult. Conflict management is a critical skill and can deeply affect an organization's success when it is lacking. Conflict can increase turnover, decrease employee morale, and impact the longevity and well-being of a business.
  3. Consistent training sometimes becomes difficult. This is because branches of a given organization may be locate far away from each other which increases costs of training. Additionally, language barrier can interfere with consistency of training.
  4. Short-term focus. Most trainers only concentrate on short term issues without considering the future problems that may arise. Trainers needs to consider both current and future goals of an organization so that they can offer a solid training to the workers.
  5. The Forgetting Curve- According to recent studies, students forget 70 percent of what they learn in a training session within 24 hours. German psychologist Hermann Ebbinghaus dubbed this poor retention phenomenon, the Forgetting Curve. L&D professionals must plan for how to reinforce training content for better retention.
