I would prefer periodic backup of data because it provides a simple form of disaster recovery and comprises at least one copy of all essential data. Therefore, in case of data loss from deletion or damages during heavy flooding in Mumbai, I could be able to retrieve the original copy from the backups. The backup also has an accumulative backup which saves only the reversal or changes to the files that have been done since previous data has already been backed.
