Analyzing Macdonald’s Operation and Comparison

MacDonald’s is a fast food company that has been growing over time and has major branches all across the world. Its services and goods have made it a notable and competitive franchise company that upholds and focuses on the positive and engaging bases of fast foods. Understanding how MacDonald’s has built and successfully revitalized its operations and business model to become a notable one is not only key to this study but also a foundation for better business growth models. As such, this study looks at the important decisions that have been taken by the company and the analysis of the business model of MacDonald’s to its decisions and its relevance.

When it comes to planning and organization, MacDonald’s has designed ways for affordable products and services. It also engages in the facilitation of creating products that are not only affordable but also in accordance to client’s preferences and expectations. Currently, MacDonald’s is the first ranked Fast Food Restaurant in the United States of America.  Additionally, MacDonald’s has also engaged in quality services and product providence for maintenance of quality and a leading fast food service provider. There has been a lot of focus on the functionality and effectiveness in MacDonald’s d its operational strategy through the utilization of important decisions such as effective human relations skills, adequate and efficient service providence and the assurance of keeping the quality and needs of customers first (Rowley). These facts bare the rankings of MacDonald’s as a major provider across the world.

The second best ranked fast food company is Starbucks, assessing the differences and similarities between the two would help to define comprehension better. Both MacDonald’s and Starbucks have their dedicated approach to effectively provide the best services for their customers. They enhance much of their services and goods to engage and build on quality assurance services. MacDonald’s has engaged in opening up stores in rural areas and more untapped locations while Starbucks mainly engages in urban and more populated areas (Snihur and Jonas, pp. 305-325). The decisions to build more working stores help to build and engage functionality which increases popularity of MacDonald’s.

The decisions that have been made my MacDonald’s on their proximity to business and building bases of its effectiveness and its preference amongst many markets. The basis of relevance and comparison with Starbucks defines and engages in manifesting comprehensive skills through the business model and its functionality.
