Porter’s five forces can be defined as a model that analyzes and identifies competitive forces and five of them in total that normally characterizes the industry and determines its strengths and weaknesses (Lee et al, 2012).

From the case the porter’s five forces can be used to identify competitive rivalry. This industry is characterized by intense competition and therefore identification of competitive rivalry is key to marketing of products and services. Innovation from staff can help in positioning and having a competitive advantage over rivals in the industry.
