There are different strategies used when a company shifts from one information system to another. The basic conversation strategies are; linking the communication strategy with the business strategy, understanding the audience or customers of the business, engaging all employees in the change process and creating an engaging content to capture the customers. The next step is to distribute the content through the right channels and implementing the right communication technology. the last step is to measure the outcomes from the new strategy and using the available data to make improvements. Among the steps used while changing the information system, the most risky is the distribution of information through the right channels and adopting a communication technology. This is because they are directly involved in holding the information and they could crash or even be hacked causing loss of information.
