I wish to sell cosmetic products and mostly target ladies living in urban areas. Personal selling process will be applied to reach the prospective customers to increase sales. The first step will be prospecting.

Prospecting is the process of identifying and contacting potential consumers. Potential clients can be located through a variety of methods, including observation, social relationships, trade exhibitions, commercially available databases, commercially accessible mail lists, and cold calling.

The ‘pre-approach' is the next phase in the personal selling process. Preparation for the sales presentation is part of the pre-approach. This planning include market research and other forms of consumer study. In order to prepare the best sales presentation, you need conduct research.

Sales representation

I will present my cosmetic products to the potential customers so that they can evaluate the quality of the products and possible demonstrative features of the products by use of samples. These will give the customers the opportunity to compare their needs and desires.

Follow up

The term "follow up" refers to the final phase in the personal selling process. Following up on a transaction is the salesman calling the consumer to confirm that they are happy. The salesman will resolve any current product difficulties that the customer may have. A good personal selling follow-up stage may be highly beneficial in assuring repeat sales, assessing the salesperson's efficacy, and generating more referrals from delighted customers.
