(a)Leadership is the art of motivating a group of people to act toward achieving a common objective.

(b)The most important qualities of a good leader include integrity, accountability, empathy, humility, resilience, vision, influence, and positivity.

(c)Regardless of the fundamental questions about the nature of leadership itself, here are some of the most valuable leadership skills you will need in your life. Determination to pursue his or her vision is what makes a good leader stand out. It is a fuel which drives the leader and enables him or her to continue fighting for organizational ideals.

(d)Can you identify any effective leaders who do not have those values? Yes.

(e)  Which values do they exhibit? they exhibit the value of vision. What makes them effective? Being positive.

(f) Barrier 1: No clear vision As a leader you need to be able to clearly articulate your vision and then sell it to others. This requires you to define what success means for your organisation, team or function and why it really matters. If you have no clear vision it is going to be pretty tough to achieve anything.

(g) There are costs of being a leader. Many are willing to accept the benefits and perks that come with leadership, but few are willing to accept the true cost of being a leader. Are you ready to pay the price? 1. You will never do enough. A common aphorism is that you can’t please everybody, and this is particularly true in leadership.

(h) Both nature, nurture can be learned.

(i) Has a particular book or person influenced your leadership style? Yes, my father is a church leader and through him I have learned various leadership styles and values like being resilient.
