Q.1.2 Summarise any two of Mintzberg’s managerial roles Stan can study and provide a practical example of each role.

Informational roles. One of these roles is being a monitor. A manager should assess the operations of the organization. For example, a manager should ensure all the employees come to work early and perform their duties as required.

Decisional roles. A manager should be an entrepreneur. He/she should act as a designer, initiator and encourage innovation and change. For example, a manager should encourage the development of new products for their organization to thrive.
