Q.1.1 In your own words, describe to Stan, the contingency theory as an approach to contemporary management.

Contingency approach puts into consideration factors such as task motivation,relation motivation and circumstances.I advise Stan to do the following:

First ,Stan should show the manager he is motivated to work.This can be done by completing tasks in good time.He should be ready and willing to take different tasks.

Secondly,in terms of relations.He should create good relations with the employees.He should not be the cause of conflicts.He shoul show respect to all despite of their ranks or positions.

Lastly,Stan should demonstrate his abilities to handle different situations or circumstances as they arise.He should be flexible and ready to provide solutions.
