Why is Reinforcement Theory also called as behaviour modification theory?
Please explain this
Reinforcement theory is also referred to as behavior modification theory since it aims to increase the occurrence of a behavior either by rewarding the behavior or removing what the individual dislikes. Over the long term, the human behavior pattern is changed to desirable behaviors. Behavior modification is applied in many scenarios like improving the behavior of a child or motivating employees. For instance, an employee who is working hard to increase the company sales, may be awarded with a bonus.
