This causes Jessica and Hannah to perform procedures that are typically performed at different times, at the same time. So, while Jessica was mopping the floor, Hannah was the fryer emptying the fryer vat to transfer the oil into the Disposable Bin at the back of the restaurant. This would require Hannah to carry a heavy pot of hot oil across a wet floor. Please explain what Hannah doing in this situation?

Therefore, Hannah should try various measure to reduce slips, trips and falls in the wet floor. Some of the measures that Hanna can adhere to at the moment include:

• Water on the floor must be cleaned up as soon as possible: Liquids on hard floors can easily cause a person to slip and injure themselves. Hannah can request Jessica to dry the floor before she can pass through.
• Strict no-running policy: This is an obvious but crucial point. Hannah must exercise extreme caution in the kitchen at all times. If she runs, she and her coworkers would put their health in jeopardy.
• Put slip-resistant mats on the floor: Safety mats are ideal for wet areas, particularly busy workstations and the doorway between the restaurant and the kitchen. They minimize the risk of slips, trips, and falls in work areas where water splashes are common.
• Wear appropriate work shoes: Hannah would benefit from extra traction on slick floor surfaces if she wore slip-resistant shoes.
