Leadership style is the way a manager applies his influence in work performance through his subordinate so that to attain specific objectives of an organization. The three types of leadership styles are Autocratic, Democratic or Participative, and Paternalistic style of leadership. However, Autocratic style of leadership is essential in enabling managerial leaders to make decisions, leaders’ motivation, and suitability in teamwork cultivation. Furthermore, Participative style favors job proclivity, motivates employees, and also essential in nurturing leadership skills. Thus, the Paternalistic leadership style is crucial in nurturing love and affections among employees. Nevertheless, Paternalistic style enhances the understanding, promotes friendship among employees, cohesiveness breeding among the groups in an organization.
