Assume that during the summer between high school terms, you work for your father who owns and operates a cabinet making factory. You were paid 700 bucks per week in cash. If on July 15 last summer the SCI GO to head malfunction put your hand in the path of the saw blade Assume that during the summer between high school terms, you work for your father who owns and operates a cabinet making factory. You are paid 700 bucks per week in cash. If on July 15 last summer the saw guide had malfunctioned, pulling your hand into the path of the sawblade, your right index finger could’ve been cut off. Because some surgery would then have been necessary to reattach your finger, you would have spent the rest of summer in the hospital. Would you be covered for workers compensation insurance in such a situation? Explain.

I would be covered since I acquired the injury in line of duty and all injured employees receive workers' compensation insurance, no matter who was at fault for the injury.
