The state of vic has various legislations enforced by respective authorities to ensure that there are adequate promotion and enforcement of health and safety in Victorian workplaces. For instance, WorkSafe Vic is a health and safety arm that has been granted full responsibility by the state to ensure that employers and employees promote health and safety in workplaces. In addition, regulators employ the provisions of WorkSafe Act 2004 to ensure that set standards are met in relations to hazards as well as risks minimized.
