concept play(ed) out in reality in South Africa.

a. When has the concept been implemented and “worked” successfully? When has it

been implemented and “failed”? When has it not even be implemented at all, or been

implemented poorly?

b. Each example should be something like a notable particular event, or a notable

particular law, or a notable particular situation. For example, if your chosen concept

is separation of powers, your example can be an event in South Africa’s history where

separations of powers clearly operated and worked (or failed to work, or was ignored).

Alternatively, you could refer to an ongoing situation in South Africa where separation

of powers is clearly working (or not working). Be SPECIFIC with your examples;

don’t just say (for instance) “The legislature fails to hold the executive accountable” –

give a specific event, law, situation, etc where that is the case.
