what is contitutional law?
Refers to a body of laws, doctrines, and practices that define the role, powers, and govern the operation of political communities. Currently, the leading political community has been the state, and the law is the offspring of nationalism and the idea that the government must protect certain fundamental rights of an individual. Constitutional law is concerned with the struggle between rival candidates for power and the limits that should be enforced on the government; therefore, constitutional law controls the government of a state. Examples of constitutional laws include the right to travel across state lines, the right to marry, privacy rights, and many others. The state can increase on the basic rights, rules, and regulations of the federal constitution.
