Calvin is a rice dealer. Thomas is one of his frequent customer “suki”. One day, Thomas ordered 5 sacks of premium Rosanna rice from Calvin to sell in their barangay during the pandamic. On the way of delivering Thomas’ order, one of the truck’s wheels rolled upon a stone causing the entire truck to bounce and the five sack to fall out of the door. Can Thomas still get his order from Calvin? Why?

Thomas can still get his order from Calvin because the transaction is bounded by joint and solidary obligations. Under the contract, there is one debtor and one collector.
