The philosophy implies to the belief in a universal humankind connection that encourages sharing with other societal members consequently improving their status in the community. The philosophy in its primary sense denotes humanity and morality in the society. Thus, the criminal justice system functionaries can incorporate the principle of Ubuntu by treating everyone in the society equally and courteously regardless of their social standing, race, religion, gender or sexuality. Moreover, the criminal justice can introduce initiatives focused on rehabilitation and redemption of offenders or incarcerated criminals indulged in redeemable offences to instill a sense of reconciliation, understanding and cooperation in the society as a way of mitigating crime. I do agree looking at the basic of Ubuntu. In short I can say Ubuntu explains, being kind towards anyone and being kind in Criminal justice I do think it will also give the department integrity. I stand to be corrected
I agree with this statement. While Ubuntu quotes, "I am because we are". It gives a clear understanding that, My way of life is your way life and is connected to all. Giving a fair treatment in society must contemplates the reasons of a fair court system.
