be in time for an exhibition. .The job does not get completed on time due to adverse weather conditions
and some delay on part of the shopkeeper. The painting is delivered on 17th June, 2017. Judge the
case.

Rohan, runs a grocery shop. A long term customer Madhav, places an order of 200 kg almonds to be
delivered for distribution amongst his employees. Rohan packs the entire quantity in 500 gm packs and
delivers at Madhav’s factory. Madhav promises to pay the money two days later. When the time comes
to pay, Madhav claims he is insolvent. Judge the case.

X gives his guitar for retuning at a music instrument shop, he has to take delivery on 30th June 2018, on 2nd July, he visits the shop only to find that the his guitar has been destroyed in the fire which took place on 1st July. When X demands money, the shopkeeper refuses claiming that it is X’s fault he should have collected on due date i.e 30th June. Judge the case.
