Gandhi famously observed, "An eye for an eye merely leaves the whole world blind." Gandhi needed people to have the guts to break the cycle of violence and employ creative nonviolence approach to put an end to it and achieve a more peaceful world.

In the quote, “I am prepared to die, but there is no cause for which I am prepared to kill”, Gandhi urged people to return to nonviolence's essential ideals. The definition of TRUTH is self-evident. The truth has many faces and is always shifting. It's possible that what appears to be true now won't be true tomorrow. Alternatively, what appears to be the truth to us may not appear to be the truth to others. As a result, we can state that we have the Truth and that our understanding of it is correct. Citizens must gain the ability to see things from a variety of perspectives and the humility to admit that we may be mistaken.
