'They've killed us for less!' says the narrator. This meant that they had murdered people for no reason. What people saw was a system that was working as it should and protecting those who it was supposed to protect. Citizens' hearts continued to break for the grieving communities and families, as well as the many more who will be rejected and deprived in similar scenes around the country.
