Why Prince Louis Napoleon said ' France believe in revolutionary not reforms.''

Napoleon's background and modest family influenced him towards supporting the French Revolution, where he tried spreading its ideals to Corsica.  Although people saw him as a dictator, he believed that France was more revolutionary because of the freedoms it came with, like liberty, equality and fraternity hence the reason why he said the phrase. Moreover, the revolution influenced the reforms positively, which could be hard to achieve through just reforms (Rothenberg, 2017).
