José Rizal quickly emerged as the leading Propagandist. His novel Noli me tángere (1886; The Social Cancer, 1912) exposed the corruption of Manila Spanish society and stimulated the movement for independence. I agree that Jose Rizal is correct that we as Filipinos, is not ready for revolution, to gain independence and do not know how to run a government because of fact we can’t even make or draft our own original made Constitution but rather used the Spanish constitution. To sum it up, the Revolution failed because it was badly led; because its leader won his post by reprehensible rather than meritorious acts; because instead of supporting the men most useful to the people, he made them useless out of jealousy.

However, Jose Rizal is considered a revolutionary because he fought for our country with a pen. He died in honor for our country and we respect that. He also made the books of El Filibusterismo and Nola Mi Tangere to fight for our country and he has been through alot of sacrifices because of the Spaniards.
