What are the core tenets (beliefs) of the Republican party? Describe their platform. Mention their stance on at least 4 issues
Republican Party
The main beliefs of a republican party include advocating for human rights and liberty, recognizes sovereignty as a source of laws, and rejects other forms of political powers like monarchy and aristocracy. It also believes that citizens should abide by their laws and perform civil duties faithfully. Although the party has rebelliously reasonable and democratic factors, it is made up of socially conservative policies, and these policies are expected to uphold traditional values. The republican party has different views on issues (Rattliff, 2020). They support privatizing social security, gun ownership rights, expansion of trade, and opposition to increasing wealth taxation and hiring legal requirements when hiring minorities and women.
