A mutiny happens when a group of people gathered together to openly oppose, change or overthrow the organization or authority to which they previously were loyal. However, in contemporary society, mutiny still occurs but peacefully without shading of blood. For instance, the Mali soldiers and other citizens protested against president Ibrahim Boubacar's government after winning the second term election. The mutineers were angry over the bad leadership of their president with increased cases of corruption, mismanagement of the economy, and conflict over the election of legislatures. Therefore the soldiers detained president Ibrahim in the military camp near Bamako capital where he was forced to step down and decided to resign to avoid shading of blood in his country.
