The biggest contribution of Juan Luna and Fernando Amorsolo is the Historical Spolarium. It is a remarkable painting wherein it is a tremendous interpretation of the sociological situations in the Philippines. Amorsolo, created this artwork to show the true value of Filipinos. They are hard-working yet happy of what they are doing. They made oils of all the Philippine presidents, including the revolutionary leader Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo, and other noted Philippine figures. They also painted many wartime scenes, including Bataan, Corner of Hell, and One Casualty. Amorsolo, who died in 1972, is said that they have painted more than 10,000 pieces.
