Define The Age of Revolutions.
The Age of Revolution is a period from the late 18th to the mid-19th centuries in which a number of significant revolutionary movements occurred in most of Europe and the Americas which in turn inspired the French Revolution of 1789, which rapidly spread to the rest of Europe through its wars. The concept of a revolution itself is ever-present, malleable, and promising. Historians use the term “revolution” to place emphasis on change, rather than continuity.
