History is one of the subjects that I get bored because history is so complicated. This is because with very few information of the past observed, few remembered, few recorded and few survived it becomes a hard task in my reading and appreciation of history today. Take an example of what were lost in the issue of national holidays. Why were they lost? This is because the last national holiday that I remember is “Independence Day” and through it I understand that holidays were a very important days from the past that deserve to be celebrated every year but as time passed by, holidays were just being celebrated to the few people that appreciate it where who understand what holiday means. I therefore think that holidays became less appreciated because people in the present forget or doesn’t have knowledge about it. Additionally, everyday people encounter new things and events in their lives. The world develops through the years and things get more complicated than the past.
