According to Marx, the challenges existent in society were mainly as a result of currency. The rich, the bourgeoisie, paid the poor or the workers, the proletariat , in fabricating items for sale, but had no say in the amount of pay they would obtain for their toil, as they could not live without even the little pay they would obtain.
