The new deal was necessary in addressing relief, reform and recovery of the US economy. The deal helped to recognize workers and improve their lives. It enhanced recovery of the economy through reforms and reliefs to help deal with depression. The program would not be successful without the three Rs. The unemployed got a relief, the workers formed unions to protect them, and government needed support to enhance financial systems. The three were vital in dealing the depression.

The workers' union is still in place and helps to champion for workers tights. The federal government is still strong. This implies that the program strengthened the US economy and helped to bring it to where it is now.
