Areas near sea level enjoys moderate temperature whereas, areas situated far have higher temperature. Do you agree/disagree with the above mentioned statement? Justify your answer with two logical reasons. /2

Not necessarily areas situated at greater altitudes have higher temperatures because it depends on longitude and relief. Areas near water have moderate climate because water specific heat capacity is high, which means that the water heat up during day cannot cool down significantly during night.
