Perennial water supply is a continuous flow of water in the land throughout the year. Despite the fact that water is good for plants as it helps in the entire process of germination. The perennial water supply of water has the ability of damaging farmland as it can cause soil erosion. That is a continuous flow of water in sloppy areas will loosen the soil thus increasing the chances of erosion. As a result, the perennial supply of water in farmland can drain nutrients and fertilizer in the soil thus making that particular farmland not productive.
