Midday snacks and meals are quite various in the ECD centre. The following midday snacks are usually served: scrambled eggs, peanut butter, oatmeal, fruits or sandwiches.As for midday meal the following dishes are in the nutrition menu: rice, mashed potatoes, pap and spaghetti can be served as garnish. For meat dish it can be stewed chicken, chicken livers in sauce, savoury mince or pilchard fish. From vegetables it can be cooked carrots, green beans, spinach or beetroot salad.
